Are your ties really made out of boardshorts?

Yes! Our ties are made of a premium quality material, the very same material as your favorite pair of boardshorts! So they're 4-way stretch, water repellent, stain resistant -- and boring-proof.

How do you care for the tie?

They are hand-sewn with premium quality boardshort material, fully lined so they tie a sturdy knot, and finished with Bombora-branded tipping, for that extra shot of personality.

Do you have extra-long ties for taller dudes?

Yes! We carry XL length ties in select designs, such as our bestselling 70s Sunset, Liquid Lines, and Leaf Landing. Our other designs in standard length can successfully be worn by guys that are up to 6'6” tall by tying a four-in-hand tie knot. This will leave the tail end of the tie shorter, (but not to worry, we have an extra tie loop in the back, and it won't be seen behind the front of the tie).

Where are your ties made?

We are a small family business and our products are designed at and shipped from our headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah, and they are handmade using fair labor practices in China. We are registered members of the Fair Labor Association (FLA) and are committed to producing quality, lasting products using the highest standards of treatment at every step of production.
